Driveway Shoring, Retaining Wall Restoration & Access Walkway
The client required a new driveway retaining wall to replace an deteriorating one, as well as a better way to access their back yard.

Project Details
The client required a new retaining wall to support one side of their driveway, which was deteriorating and at risk of collapse. They sought to replace the old timber wall with a more durable solution. Additionally, the client wanted to eliminate the planting beside the driveway wall due to maintenance challenges and to create a safe, designated path to access their backyard.
Our team was tasked with developing a comprehensive solution to address these issues. An unsightly concrete foundation became more visible after the removal of the old timber planters and vegetation. To enhance the aesthetic appeal from the street, we opted to apply a textured paint coating to the foundation wall, effectively camouflaging it.
A significant aspect of the project involved removing the existing asphalt approximately 4 feet behind the wall to allow for proper backfilling with drainage stone. Instead of replacing the asphalt after the wall's completion, we decided to extend the existing interlocking concrete paver inset along the wall side of the driveway. This design included a step down to a new walkway that provided safe access to the backyard.
To complete the project, we collaborated with a local welding and fabrication company to install a custom wrought iron fence, adding both security and elegance to the landscape.
The client was thrilled with the final result, and our team was equally pleased with the transformation, showcasing our commitment to quality landscaping solutions.
